Lunch with Ms. Bunny

Well, today is the last day of my vacation, tommorrow back to work Sigh.....

The lunch "theme" today is soft and pink.

White and pink together is another classic (that is IF you like pink LOL) I love pink, but it is actually a very hard color to find in dishware. Some of you have asked where I find my goodies...

The large pink plates and bowl, and coffee mug are from Target (a few Easters ago)
The pink and green water glass from Mikasa Outlet

The silk flowers are from JoAnns (definately use the coupons, otherwise they can be pricey)

The white lacy dishes and white bunny tea pot are from Marshalls

The salt and pepper birds are from Target (you can still find them there)
The bunny is one of 2 I purchased from Tuesday Morning (around Easter time)

The round quilted place mats are from Marshalls (you may still be able to find them, since I bought them last month)
Frosted silverware is from Walmarts...(I find a surprising amount of cool flatware there)

The cute little bunny milk server is from World Market, it dispenses just the right amount of milk for my coffee or tea for me (they still carry them)

The pretty flowered hat box ( have loads and loads of these for me and for gift giving, I find sometimes they are cheaper to buy and put your gift in than purchasing the wrapping paper and ribbon.

I hope I have encouraged you to take life a little bit slower by dining outside and start experimenting with setting a pretty table for yourself and your families.

The bunny milk server is darling. I was also admiring the chair cushion in the very top photo. May I ask where you got that? Thanks for sharing where you found all your beautiful items! You are a skilled shopper!

Wow! You have created yet another perfect lovely setting!

Sweet Designs said...

Mo, thank you, the chair cushions were bought at Marshall about 2 months ago (LOL, figures the only item I left out), yes I have to be very careful with how I spend my money if I want to indulge my passion for this. But, half the fun is in the hunt.

How pretty. I find things everywhere just as you do.
I have actually used hat boxes to store some of my dishes. There great for hiding thing in, that you don't have room for.

How lovely and refreshing is your table setting. Thanks for sharing where you found the items. I live in rural PA and save most of my shopping when I visit larger cities that have those stores. Then I go crazy! I love how you incorporate your white into the other color schemes. You have a good eye. Peggy from PA

I couldn't get here fast enough when a friend told me you had a blog..Your tablescapes are a delight and inspiration... I love the bunnies.. I have quite a fondness for them.. and your dishes are wonderful.. I"m on a mission now to find the silver chargers...would you mind sharing where you got them? Can't wait of your next installment...hugs ~lynne~

Sweet Designs said...

Thank you everyone for your very kind comments.
Hello to the RMS ladies :)

decorator101-lynne, in answer to your question about my silver "chargers". The are actually just round silver trays, that I purchased at a Oneida store about 12 years ago, I did purchase them with the intention of using them as chargers though, it was a big investment, but I know I would always love them and use them. The store here not longer exists, but if you google silver trays you will find alot will come up...pricy unfortuantely, but it is worth it :)

Ann, my house is a work in progress, it is very tiny 940 sq ft.. I do have a photo of my living room on one of my earlier posts, I have much to do still, moldings, flooring and I want to do a wall treatment, oh yeah and my kitchen I need a complete redo, but that is not going to happen any time soon, but I will be doing a mini re do and will post when I get further along.
Thanks again everyone for your interest! :)
