Fall Fireplace Mantel decorating

Hi all,

This is a sneak peek of my Fall decorated fireplace.

I know I have not been around for AGES! I am finally feeling up to par, and ready to join the world again.

Hopefully tonight I will take a full shot with small voltive candles lit.

I love decorating "overkill", I just can't help myself, I start out simple, and just like I can't take one bite of chocolate, I have to just keep going. Luckly, this was very inexpensive to do. One strand of fall leaves, faux feathers, strands of other draping type of greens. Orangey pods, xmas greens and tureen (not shown) from Walmart, nest, and dogs from Marshalls. Real apples from the grocery store. Pinecones FREE = Pricesless LOL
I'll be doing a Fall tablescape in a couple of days.

So happy to see you back! I've checked in every few weeks to see if you had posted and nothing until now! Glad you are feeling better. I love your ideas! Thanks for the inspiration.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Judith, so glad to see your post. You always do such elegant things! I love your fall mantel. Is that a pug in amidst everything? I have a pug named Lucy, so my eye was drawn to the dog.

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Well, I just got my computer again, so we are both in 're-starts'! I am so glad that the season you LOVE is started! I know you love the Holiday season each year, and I am happy to see you having your fun, and most of all TAKING PICTURES!

Can't wait for the tablescapes! I'll be watching!

Judith, glad to see you finally posting again. I didn't think you would be back so I was really surprised to see you back on your blog. Can't wait to see how you will decorate this year. I will have to let LUVS and the ladies on GW know you are back - if they don't know already.
